Resources / Glossary

Terms that define a living medical world.

A shared vocabulary for persistent patients, role-aware intelligence and the simulation systems that connect them.

Definitions describe the intended architecture; implementation status is documented separately.

The MediVerse vocabulary

Precise terms. A shared understanding.

Each term describes a responsibility or relationship within the simulation, rather than a claim of clinical validation.

Specialty Complex

A specialized environment inside MediVerse that connects facilities, people, devices, conditions and care workflows.

Physiological Twin

A computational model of the connected state of a simulated person.

Intelligent Logic Twin

The authoritative operational model of the simulated medical world.

Cognitive Twin

Role-specific identity, knowledge, memory, goals and relationships represented within an agent.

Persistent patient

A simulated identity and clinical history that can remain available between encounters.

Simulation-grounded AI

Agent reasoning connected to permitted world context and validated actions.

Action gateway

The boundary that checks identity, authority, state version and rules before changing simulation state.

Functional medical device

A simulated device whose controls and outputs have a defined relationship to modeled patient state.

Longitudinal care

Care represented across time, encounters, teams and settings.

Multimorbidity

Multiple conditions within the same person, represented as a connected clinical context.

Haptic feedback

A physical cue delivered through a device; vibration and force feedback are different capabilities.

After-action review

Structured examination of observations, actions, communication and consequences after a simulation.

Scenario authoring

Defining patient parameters, teams, objectives, events and assessment rules.

Model validation

Evaluating whether a model is suitable for a specified purpose using appropriate evidence.
A clear development boundary

Orthopedics is the initial prototype focus. Specialty scope, advanced physiology, institutional authoring and multiplayer describe the platform direction. No clinical validation or regulatory approval is claimed.
